This Privacy Notice applies to the Hirconn mobile application, in-app features, and any other services or digital experiences we operate under the Hirconn brand. Whether you're creating a Personal Page to connect globally or building a Business Page to promote your services and get discovered, this Privacy Notice applies to all of it. For simplicity, we'll refer to everything collectively as the "Service."

Information We Collect

It goes without saying, we can't help you connect or promote your professional services without you providing some information about yourself—like your name, interests, and work background. Using our Service also generates some data, such as when you logged in or how you interacted with other users. Below is a detailed breakdown of the information we collect when you use Hirconn.

Content	When you use Hirconn, you may upload photos, text, or other types of content to personalize your Personal or Business Page. If you choose to link your pages, those links become publicly visible as well.
Customer Support Data	When you reach out to our support team, you provide us with information that may help us resolve your inquiry. We may also receive reports from other users involving your account, which will be processed accordingly.

We also share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate and improve Hirconn, and in some cases, with legal or regulatory bodies as required. Read on for more details.

Objection (Opt-out) or Restriction Right to object to or limit how we use your personal information	Some preferences can be managed in your app settings. If you want to object to or restrict specific processing activities, email us at admin@hirconn.com.
Consent Withdrawal Right to withdraw consent for specific types of processing	You can withdraw consent via your app settings or device settings (e.g., location access, notifications). To fully withdraw consent or request help, contact us at admin@hirconn.com.

To protect your privacy and the security of all users, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. This is to ensure that your personal information isn't accessed or altered by someone else.

Please note that we may decline requests that cannot be verified, are unlawful, or may infringe on the rights of other users or our intellectual property. For example, if you request information about another user (such as their messages to you), that user must submit their own request.

If you're a resident of Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Virginia, Colorado, or Connecticut, USA, and we deny your privacy request, you may appeal by contacting us at admin@hirconn.com, and explicitly referencing "Privacy Request Appeal." If you're dissatisfied with the outcome of the appeal, you can also contact your state's attorney general.

Children's Privacy

Hirconn is not intended for users under 18. If we discover that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. We also rely on our community to help us, as such, if as a Hirconn user, you suspect that a member is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available on the platform or contact us at admin@hirconn.com.

How Long We Retain Your Personal Information

We want the connections you make through Hirconn to be meaningful and long-lasting—but we only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for legitimate business reasons (as described in the "Why and How We Use Your Personal Information" section) and as permitted by applicable law.

If you decide to stop using the Service, you can close your account at any time. Your profile will no longer be visible to other users. Please note that accounts inactive for two years may be automatically closed by us.

Following account closure, we delete or anonymize your personal information based on the timelines and purposes outlined below:

Safety Retention Window (3 months): To protect the safety and integrity of our platform, we retain your personal information for three months after account closure. This window allows us to investigate and act on any potentially unlawful or harmful behavior. This processing is based on our legitimate interest, and the potential interest of affected third parties.
Legal Retention Obligations:
- Transaction data (if applicable) and general location at time of download or use may be retained for up to 10 years to comply with tax, accounting, and financial regulations.
- Traffic data/access logs are retained for one year, as required under applicable telecommunications or cybersecurity laws.
- Consent records (e.g., when and how you agreed to data processing) are stored for five years to comply with legal recordkeeping standards.
Customer Support and Safety Records:
- We keep customer support interactions, reports, and related evidence for up to five years to enforce our rights, support users, and defend against complaints or legal claims.
- We retain some profile data and imprecise download location information for one year, for legal preparedness (e.g., potential litigation).
- If a user is banned, we may retain limited identifying information indefinitely—as long as necessary to prevent the creation of new accounts and protect other users.
Pending Legal or Regulatory Requests:
If there is an active or anticipated legal process (e.g., subpoena, regulatory investigation, dispute), we may retain specific data until the issue is resolved or until we are legally permitted to delete it.
Non-Identifiable Data:
Where allowed by law, we may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you, for service improvement, feature development, and security enhancements as outlined in this Privacy Notice.

Changes to This Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice may change over time. As we continue to grow and find new ways to help you connect and promote your professional brand to get hired, we may update this Privacy Notice to reflect improvements in our personal information processing practices or to comply with legal and regulatory changes.
